Responsibilities:
  • **Monthly and Quarterly Presentations**: Develop engaging, visually appealing PowerPoint presentations to convey financial performance, forecasts, and insights to senior management and stakeholders. Present complex financial data clearly and succinctly.
  • **Monthly Financial Close**: Manage the monthly financial close process, ensuring accurate reporting of all P&L items, completion of reconciliations, and thorough analysis of variances. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies, adhere to timelines, and maintain the integrity of financial data for reporting and decision-making.
  • **Financial Analysis and Reporting**: Perform detailed financial analyses, including variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking for global cost centers. Generate accurate, timely financial reports that emphasize key trends and insights to aid in decision-making.
  • **Business Partnering**: Serve as a reliable finance business partner for the global team and other cost center owners throughout the organization. Work closely with stakeholders to grasp business goals, identify financial risks and opportunities, and offer proactive recommendations to improve cost efficiency and enhance financial performance.
  • **Budgeting and Forecasting**: Partner with cost center owners to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts for global operations. Assist in consolidating and analyzing budget and forecast data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with strategic goals.
  • **Financial Modeling**: Build and maintain financial models to assess business scenarios, investment opportunities, and cost-saving strategies. Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses to evaluate the financial impact of various strategic choices.
  • **Cost Management**: Track and analyze actual expenses compared to budgeted figures for global cost centers. Identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and optimization. Provide guidance to cost center owners to meet financial objectives and enhance cost control.
  • **Process Improvement**: Continuously assess and improve financial planning and analysis processes, tools, and methods. Recommend and implement process enhancements to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, and improve the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA or CFA designation (or in progress).
  • 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the ecommerce/technology industry.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Expertise in Excel and data analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Pay range and compensation package:

Compensation is up to $115,000
