Fanning-Masis is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Investment Advisor to join our client's dynamic team. The Investment Advisor will be responsible for driving business results by developing and maintaining strong client relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering exceptional financial planning and wealth management services. This role will serve as a key resource for clients with complex wealth management needs, demonstrating expertise in investment management, retirement planning, and conducting participant education meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain trusted client relationships by providing targeted advice and tailored wealth management solutions.
Advise clients on asset allocation, investment management, and comprehensive wealth planning.
Support clients with complex financial needs, including retirement planning, tax strategies, and estate planning.
Conduct participant education meetings for retirement plan clients, fostering relationships with individual participants and key employees.
Generate new business through client referrals, networking, and educational efforts, converting leads to wealth management clients.
Collaborate with the Senior Vice President of Investment Advisory Services to ensure clients receive optimal investment solutions.
Prepare and present comprehensive financial plans, regularly reviewing and updating them based on client inputs and changes in their personal or financial circumstances.
Assist in day-to-day service activities alongside the service team.
Support business development initiatives, including events, campaigns, prospect meetings, and proposals.
Advise retirement plan clients on all aspects of plan design, implementation, and maintenance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or CFP designation (or progress toward) preferred.
Licensed as an IAR (Investment Advisor Representative), Series 65 or 66.
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proven ability to manage client relationships, deliver exceptional service, and achieve business development goals.
Experience with financial planning software (MoneyGuidePro) and CRM systems (Salesforce).
Familiarity with working with high-net-worth individuals and retirement plan sponsors.
