A private defense contractor is in the market for a Corporate Financial Analyst to assist their FP&A function. This role is great for an individual currently working in the FP&A function of a large government contractor and looking for the next step in their career. Role is hybrid in Alexandria VA. Must have Deltek Costpoint.
Duties:
Assist with annual budgets in various functional categories
Produce financial reports to support strategic decision making at executive leadership level
Handle ad hoc analysis requests from project leaders
Analyze expenditure variances and provide actionable insights
Support individual managers with the development of their respective cost analysis which build up to the budget.
Partner with the business, contracts, and procurement teams on contract modeling/ negotiation/execution for key contracts.
Qualifications
BS Degree in Finance or Economics
3+ years financial analysis experience, assisting with budget and forecast processes
Experience in government contracting, Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Experience working with Deltek Costpoint and Cognos Reporting
Ability to commute to Alexandria VA on a hybrid schedule
