Calculated Hire is in search of a Business Execution Consultant II for our Fortune 100 Financial Services company. You will be responsible for the following components:
Job Description:
This department supports the collateralization of the derivative, repurchase agreement (repo), forward, TBA Agency MBS and foreign exchange (FX) businesses. This group is located in Charlotte and supports nearly 30,000 clients across all business' product lines, and multiple legal entities. WF DCM actions approximately 700 margin calls daily and responsible for the settlement and front to back management of the collateral for those clients. This contractor will be supporting the Derivative Collateral Management team. Senior team members will be moving to an optimization effort while newer team members take over day to day tasks. This contractor may be pulled in to support ad-hoc tasks as needed depending on skill set.
Responsibilities:
Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunity for process improvements within Business Execution.
Review and analyze basic or tactical Business Execution assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, related to low-to-medium risk deliverables.
Present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Provide information to client personnel in Business Execution.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications: • FINRA Series 7 license - DOES NOT NEED TO BE ACTIVE • Familiarity with tableau - (team will build reporting off data) • Knowledge of FX products, collateral, fixed income products, swaps experience, accounting, equity FX background, general ledger, client facing experience etc. • Knowledge of and possess ability to interpret executed International Swaps and Derivatives Association • Master Agreements (ISDA) and Credit Support Annex (CSA), MSFTA and GMRA documents
Top Skills: • Extensive knowledge and understanding of loan, securities, and derivative products • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Macros, V-Lookups, etc)
Soft Skills: • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy • Self-starter and aggressive work ethic with self-discipline follow up skills
Experience:
1 year of capital markets industry or similar experience
