- Perform in-depth financial analyses across a portfolio of hotels, reviewing monthly financial statements, cash flow summaries, forecasts, balance sheets, and capital expenditure reports.
- Analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and variances, and translate these findings into practical financial strategies.
- Ensure all financial reports are accurate and timely, promptly informing Operations and Finance teams of any significant deviations from budgets, forecasts, or internal controls.
- Drive process enhancements with property leadership teams to improve expense control and maximize profitability.
- Develop and execute forward-thinking financial strategies aimed at optimizing value across the portfolio, constantly identifying areas for improvement.
- Lead, coach, and mentor property Directors of Finance, promoting a high standard of financial management, reporting, and analytical practices.
- Partner with executive team members at properties to streamline budgeting and forecasting efforts, ensuring both timely completion and accuracy in financial projections.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property owners and lenders, ensuring timely responses and adherence to reporting obligations.
- Serve as the primary contact for owners and lenders, attending meetings to address inquiries and offer financial insights when needed.
- Oversee compliance with debt agreements and lease obligations, maintaining the financial integrity of properties.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required; MBA or CPA designation preferred.
- At least 5 years of multi-property experience in a decentralized, independent hotel environment.
- A minimum of 10 years of on-site property finance leadership experience, ideally in full-service hotels or relevant financial roles.
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP systems, report writing software, and other enterprise resource planning tools.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of working with complex financial models.
- Experience managing diverse assets, including food and beverage operations, spas, and golf courses; experience with memberships, condominiums, and Homeowner Associations is a plus.
- Strong team leadership, coaching abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
