Who we are looking for

We are looking for a Vice President to act as an operations client service manager joining a team servicing one of State Street's largest global custody and key strategic clients. Our objective is to drive excellence, and create and execute a seamless, integrated global service model across product jurisdictions and operating centers. They will partner with this client's investment operations team and State Street internal colleagues to drive a superior service experience in operations and custody servicing. They will oversee several operational support teams (globally) of varying focus with primary emphasis on custody. The role requires understanding of services and platforms to manage extensive customer interaction and internal interaction across support functions to enhance the State Street client experience.

What you will be responsible for

As Operations Client Service Vice President you will


  • Proactively developing and maintaining external relationships with client and key internal stakeholders.

  • Developing understanding of client's strategies and seeks business solutions to meet their needs.

  • Leading internal and client facing interactions to drive solutions, partnerships and efficiency gains

  • Leads the development of department objectives and oversees implementation of process improvements

  • Ability to solve complex/multi-discipline business and relationship queries and support of a variety of client business management responsibilities

  • Oversight of team tasks and client deliverables with attention to detail, ownership and accountability

  • Collaborating across multiple internal teams for answers or solutions while representing all as one State Street

  • Maintaining positive and professional interactions with the client to continue building trust and confidence in the team

  • Timely executing instructions or standing procedures and protocols associated with Reconciliation, Custody, Operations, and Sub-Advised teams

  • Ensuring control checks are executed and KPIs are met across all teams under supervision where applicable

  • Maintain governing documents such as Service Level Agreements, Client Review Packages, and Fund Onboarding/Market Opening Business Process Reviews

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry recognized qualification

  • Must have a minimum of 5-7 years of related experience

The ideal candidate will be a well-organized detailed oriented, analytical individual. Ability to take ownership of initiatives and challenges. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to simultaneously handle multiple assignments and pressure while working efficiently to meet client deliverables.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements

Salary Range:
$100,000 - $160,000 Annual
