Environmental Manager

Leppert Associates is a small business that provides quantitative hydrogeological and environmental engineering services to industry, DOE, DOD, and EPA clients. LA provides clients with technical and project management over their environmental monitoring programs. We create, modify and assist these programs with our specialized services which include management and analysis of data, managing collection of data, statistical analyses, writing reports and supplying the technical lead on environmental issues. Our managers control the many aspects of these programs. They will point of contact for our clients environmental programs and also technical leads. LA Environmental Managers work remotely but with a highly experienced team supporting them. We have created environmental monitoring software and numerous programming and statistical tools to assist our managers. A complex data storage system is provided through the cloud. Managers will need to high work ethic and be self motivated. Good math, communication and writing skills will benefit this position. A few weeks of traveling might be required to oversee collection of data and project management. This position can be part or full time. A minimum of 30 hours is required. Computer and all tools required to complete work is provided.

Data Scientist

Leppert Associates was formed in 2000 to provide pragmatic, quantitative solutions for hydrologic; geologic; and environmental challenges. We offer technical consulting and implementation services that are generally focused at Environmental Assessment, Environmental Remediation and Subsurface Resource Evaluation. Leppert Associates is looking for a Data Scientist to lead project based environmental programs for our clients. This entails compiling data gathered in the field into Leppert Associates proprietary databases, analyzing data, then creating environmental reports for regulatory entities. Project Management is required to complete these tasks. Programming capabilities is a plus but not required. The position is a full or part-time position that requires a minimum of 30 hours a week. The job requires some training to be in our office in Golden and or Denver. Once trained the data scientist will work virtually from home.
