About the Role:
As a Café Chef, you will lead our kitchen team in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes in a fast-paced café environment. You'll oversee daily kitchen operations, from menu development and inventory management to ensuring food safety and quality standards. Working closely with the Café Manager, you'll create memorable food experiences, develop and train the kitchen staff, and continuously improve the menu and service based on customer feedback. Your creativity and culinary skills will shape the café's offerings, while your leadership will foster a positive, efficient kitchen environment.

What we need from you:
We're looking for someone with strong culinary expertise, proven leadership in a kitchen setting, and a passion for delivering exceptional food. You should be organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks, including staff supervision, scheduling, and cost control. The ability to remain calm under pressure, adapt to changing circumstances, and ensure a smooth operation is essential. Proficiency with kitchen equipment, food safety standards, and experience with menu development are key. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50lbs, is required.
