This application is for a 6-month student role from January - June 2025. Resume review begins in October 2024. 

In this role, you will be a part of the Talent Attraction Team and will report to the Sr. Manager of Recruitment Marketing. This team is a subset of the larger Talent Acquisition organization within Human Resources. Talent Attraction's focus is to engage top talent within the marketplace and to excite them about career opportunities at Biogen. As Biogen continues to grow and expand our business around the world, we need great talent that can help us to achieve our mission. This requires attracting and engaging the best individuals and ensuring that they understand the culture, values, and mission of our organization.    

Position Description 

You will support our Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing activities (campaigns, events, content creation and more) as well as our digital presence on sites like LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and The Muse. Employer Branding is essential to maintaining Biogen's position as a great place to work. As part of this team, you are responsible for helping to market Biogen's exceptional culture content to prospective employees through partnership platforms. You will partner with our Corporate Affairs (Branding, Marketing) and Talent Attraction Teams to attract, engage, and hire the talented people we need across the globe. 

Example projects may include: 


  • Supporting research, strategy, and project management of career site updates 

  • Administrative tasks to help execute our marketing tactics 

  • Producing career videos and stories to help attract top talent 

  • Educating talent acquisition team members on job posting and recruitment marketing best practices 

  • Partnering with Corporate Affairs and social media teams on content development and approvals 

  • Writing internal communications to highlight our program and initiatives 

Qualifications


  • Must currently have 2 years completed of a bachelor's degree program with a major in Marketing, Communications or Writing/Journalism 

  • Some background in communication, digital marketing, social media  

  • Strong editorial and/or copywriting skills 

  • Proven experience with project management 

  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills 

  • Apart from branding/marketing, must have an interest in learning and understanding talent acquisition  

To participate in the Biogen Co-op Program, students must meet the following eligibility criteria: 


  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. 

  • At least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date 

  • Be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university 

Education 

  • Currently obtaining a bachelor's degree and majoring in Marketing or Communications 

Location 

  • This role is hybrid in Cambridge, MA .
