What you'll do:
Develop compelling, compliant, and well-structured proposals in response to government and commercial Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and Request for Information (RFI). *Don't worry if you don't know what this is. You'll learn!
Utilize and expand our existing content library to create compelling, accurate, and compliant proposal documents.
Create persuasive responses that align with customer requirements and emphasizes Skyward's competitive strengths.
Build an understanding and knowledge of customer domains.
Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to understand government requirements and align our responses with those needs.
Work closely with internal Skyward teams, including business development, technical experts, and project managers, to gather information and ensure proposals align with company capabilities and client requirements.
Assist in improving proposal writing processes and maintaining a repository of reusable proposal templates and content.
What we'd like you to have:
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent research and analytical skills.
An interest in civic technology and government contracting.

You've had internships relating to marketing, communications, business development, or, even better, proposal writing.
