Job Description:

A Lawrenceville, GA Hospital System is seeking a Registered Dietitian with LTC (long term care) experience (including CMS regulations and MDS Documentation) for a contract role with possibility of extension.


Requirements:

1. B.S. degree in Foods and Nutrition, and Dietetic Internship or equivalent training.


2. Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.


3. Current licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Georgia.

Location: Lawrenceville, GA


Shift: 8:30a - 5:00p, Monday - Friday (about 32 hours / week)


Pay: Negotiable


Job Duties:

• Clinical Dietitian will provide services in inpatient and/or outpatient setting as assigned.


• Prepares / implements nutritional care plans from adolescent to geriatric patients in accordance with departmental policy and standards of care.


• Prioritizes patients at high risk through utilization of the the multi-patient task list, MD consult/referral or by other means available.


• Initiates medical nutrition therapy interventions as part of the patient's individual medical condition.


• Incorporates current evidence-based research into clinical practice.
