Slalom Consulting is seeking a Healthcare and Life Sciences (HCLS) Marketing Manager to join our Global Industry Marketing Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven and creative marketing leader to design innovative ways to accelerate the growth of an already rapidly growing business.
This person will bring healthcare and/or life sciences marketing experience and will have proven results in conceptualizing and executing cross-platform, multi-pillar, integrated B2B marketing and communications programs, go-to-market strategies, and campaigns.
They will have the agility to change directions as business needs evolve and bring the organization along with them. They will have extensive experience collaborating with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally.
The HCLS Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing messaging and positioning in collaboration with our internal stakeholders that resonates with our core audience(s). This person will develop engaging content that fuels demand generation, help craft GTM campaigns that drive pipeline and measurable results, and will drive the development of marketing collateral (presentations, whitepapers). This person will be integral in developing and executing our global event strategy for our key industry events.
We are looking for a marketing professional that understands the HCLS industry with a demonstrated commitment to excellence, flexibility, poise, and confidence. The ability to quickly establish credibility with stakeholders, build and leverage relationships, and interface with our leadership team in a professional manner are critical to success in this role.
What You'll Do
Develop a comprehensive 12-month strategy for HCLS marketing in conjunction with the Global Industry team
Develop and execute innovative plans to attract clients and prospects alike. Ability to craft creative briefs that fuel the Slalom team to execute our shared vision and business goals
Lead execution of the marketing plan with a focus on maximizing business impact on schedule and within budget. End-to-end management of all HCLS marketing outputs
Work in conjunction with our go to market, client, partner teams, and subject matters experts to develop programs, content, resources, and materials tailored to our key external and internal audiences that enable Slalom teams to scale and execute across the globe
Build and share a calendar of event-related marketing activities for both you and others to execute
Lead core planning meetings across various groups to establish marketing strategies and drive alignment against shared objectives and business goals
Develop and implement email marketing campaigns
Train end users on how to successfully use content, leverage marketing plans, and easily track success metrics
Utilize measurement and analytics to deliver event and campaign returns against expected business results and key performance targets and let those insights inform future campaigns
Build and leverage stakeholder relationships with Slalom leadership teams
Represent the Slalom culture in a positive light, always working with a customer service attitude
What You'll Bring
Excellent understanding of integrated marketing activities - from advertising and sponsorships to direct marketing and events
Experience marketing to healthcare and life sciences organizations
Experience executing complex B2B marketing programs and events
Experience developing and executing paid and organic marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, goal creation, and measurement
Data driven, results oriented marketer. Ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive business results across a shared vision.
Keen understanding of the technology partner ecosystem and running partner-specific campaigns
Experience using marketing automation tools (examples: Salesforce Pardot and Salesforce Marketing Cloud)
Ability to set priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while remaining flexible and consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience managing large budgets and complex schedules
A passionate and curious marketer, who is a learner at heart
A quick thinker who can maintain professional composure even under pressure
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
People management experience
Advanced skills and experience in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Communications
Minimum 6+ years of B2B marketing experience
3+ years of experience marketing to healthcare and life sciences organizations
Must be available to travel 10%

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the targeted base salary range is $110,000 to $140,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
