Job Description:
Restorative Health Care is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to oversee the daily operations of our home health company in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by generating quality patient referrals, managing the scheduling of medical professionals, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing and the Administrator to maintain operational efficiency and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Note: This role is ideal for a leader with a deep understanding of home health care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the company's overall operations, ensuring that patient care is delivered efficiently while maintaining profitability.
Develop and implement functional strategies to meet business goals and enhance operational performance.
Oversee patient intake and ensure that medical professionals are scheduled effectively to meet the needs of all patients.
Establish and maintain referral networks to drive business growth.
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Administrator to ensure regulatory compliance and the highest standards of patient care.
Develop and manage budgets, policies, and procedures to support the infrastructure of the company.
Monitor and report on operational performance, addressing any areas for improvement promptly.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, healthcare, or management preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in home health care or homecare services.
Strong understanding of home health operations, including regulatory requirements.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage the scheduling of medical professionals.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to establish and maintain relationships with referral sources and healthcare professionals.
