A large regional bank is seeking a Data Engineer for the development of ETL pipelines, models, queries and data scripts. This person will collaborate with data architects, product owners, data scientists and C-suite executives to develop/enhance solutions aligned with the business strategy of the bank.
Salary: Up to $140k base
Location: Florham Park, NJ (3 days/week)

Responsibilities:
Design and develop ETL pipelines, data models, queries and scripts
Explore ways to enhance end-to-end performance across the entire process
Contribute to data management policies, standards, and procedures. Identify opportunities for process improvement, including automating manual tasks, optimizing data delivery, and enhancing infrastructure scalability
Architect and build Cloud-based infrastructure for both real-time and batch ETL processes
Requirements:
Hands on development experience with: Python, Spark, SQL, Cloud-based ETL tools, Azure Data Factory/Databricks and Snowflake
Strong experience with: Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, ETL interfaces and Data Analytics solutions
3+ Years of experience providing data solutions, architecture, design and delivery, in a Data Engineering role within a large financial institution
Bachelor's degree in relevant field- Computer/Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics
