Ikonix USA is looking to add a Production and Service Leader to its Operations Team!
Every day you use products powered by electricity and battery currents. Every time you toast your bread, charge your laptop, blow dry your hair, or wash your clothing you are using products that need to be tested to ensure their electrical safety.
Our goal is to keep people safe from the dangers of electric shock. Ikonix USA manufactures electrical safety compliance instruments and power sources.
Our customers use the instruments we manufacture to ensure they are producing and shipping products that are safe to use.
The Production and Service Leader is responsible for leading the tactical functions of the laboratory and warehouse teams, promoting the core values of the company, and developing and evaluating the performance of the personnel. The primary focus will be on developing and measuring KPIs for the team of technicians and order fulfillment specialists (OFS), driving operational efficiencies, and ensuring that the operations team achieves the OTD, Sales, and Customer Happiness goals of the organization while meeting and exceeding customer expectations. This is a an onsite position.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor, evaluate, and create improvement plans the performance of the team of technicians and warehouse personnel to the KPIs and Core Values of Ikonix
Ensure a safe work environment and enforce safe work behaviors
Deploy technicians as needed to accomplish the On Time Delivery, Customer Happiness, and Sales goals of the company
Ensure technicians follow the Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions as developed by the Electronics Testing Engineer and Quality and Metrology Engineer
Develop, Monitor, and Report out KPI's for the technician and warehouse teams.
Collaborate with the Production and Inventory Control Specialist to ensure that the production schedule is met, and inventory control practices are followed.
With the support of the Electronics Test Engineer, work to optimize operations processes through continual improvement
Ensure that 5S standards are implemented and maintained.
Use Lean Manufacturing methodologies to eliminate waste in the operation, and strive for continual improvement
Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 and 9001 Standards
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
Minimum 5 years in manufacturing or sales and service
Minimum of 2 years of management or supervisory experience leading a manufacturing or technician team
Electronics troubleshooting experience a plus
ISO 17025 and/or 9001 experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
Identify tools, training, and resources needed by the technician team
Assist the Operations Manager in preparing the operations budget
Collaborate with other departments in achieving the goals of Ikonix
Manage the equipment and shop supplies budget
Assist the Operations manager with facilities management, and utilities management functions and contractors: e.g. landscaping, janitorial, fire safety, trades, etc.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
