Roles & Responsibilities:
Become a leader in a successful and fast-growing global company.
Develop and mentor a team of engineering professionals

Interview/Hiring support
Create and submit proposal documentation for continuation projects
Adherence to internal standards of project compliance for all projects owned (Global Project Framework); this includes but is not limited to:
Project Health monitoring
Following project type requirements: time & material, task based, and low to medium complexity projects
On time delivery
Timely invoicing
Create and distribute status reports to customers on a weekly basis
Own RCAs and drive to closure, which can result from an internal project management audit or from poor performance/execution
Encourage and support employees to develop productivity/continuous improvements
Participate in quality audits for project compliance and drive closure of open observations and non-conformances
Daily touch points with direct reportees. Regular team meetings to flow down company and immediate organizational communications.
Regular meetings with customers as required to ensure customer and employee satisfaction, and overall success of the project
Culture champion/ambassador: setting a good example for the rest of the team/organization. Be a focal for Quest Global processes
Work with technical leaders to ensure projects are executed with high technical quality
Ensure development of team members using individual development plans, training, competency assessments and coaching. Create environment where Cascading Talent is encouraged.
Execute analysis tasks and make technical recommendations based on engineering judgment.
Support quotation efforts with accurate estimates of time required to complete tasks
Setting (annually) and monitoring performance metrics for direct report employees quarterly
Participate and execute annual performance reviews
Troubleshoot Project management tool and process issues; enter help desk tickets to mitigate
Guide employees to the appropriate individuals with HR, benefits and Quest Global processes.
Work Experience
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
BS or higher in Engineering or equivalent
Must be able to go onsite to the customer facility in Windsor Locks, CT (not fully remote position)
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
Proficiency with MS Office, particularly MS Excel, required
Desired Skills:
Exposure to the Aerospace industry is highly preferred
Experience with project management preferred- required to actively manage tasks
