Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities to improve coverages, recommend solution alternatives, and coordinate with other areas to implement improvements
Support research competitors' forms and appetite across different market verticals
Leads management of existing products based on core business metrics (e.g., profitability, retention, hit ratio)
Collaborates closely with technical product management and engineering to ensure accurate implementation of insurance product requirements
Underwrite complex underwriting referrals and exceptions to the core guidelines and use learnings to optimize the underwriting algorithm
Qualifications:
4+ years of related insurance experience in P&C commercial lines in underwriting, analytics or actuarial related roles
Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
Ability to learn new applications and systems and process complex data from multiple sources to create analyses and reports
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
Strong technical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, SQL
Ability to work remotely with a high level of self-motivation
Excellent written and verbal skills- ability to work in a team environment
