As a Buyer/Planner, you'll play a key role in sourcing products and supplies for the organization. This role offers autonomy and the chance to engage with senior management, contributing to to the overall manufacturing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and maintain accurate inventory levels
Research and forecast buying trends to meet business needs
Develop and manage relationships with suppliers; evaluate financial risks
Keep updated on industry trends through trade shows and conferences
Manage MRP parameters, update planning rules, and handle demand signals
Align production schedules with manufacturing and suppliers
Ensure accurate inventory and planning data
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred
1+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing required
Strong negotiation, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
ERP Experience required
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
