Responsible for supporting the Equipment Procurement Manager in corporate purchasing functions and management of equipment data and reporting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assists with vehicle/equipment purchase preparation
Create and issue purchase orders for equipment
Review invoices and statements for accuracy
Track and document pertinent data, purchase timelines, and prepare corresponding reports
Document Specifications created by INTREN for Equipment and Tooling using Adobe.
Document Intren Procurement procedures
Document Intren Up-fit procedures
Uses analytical tools and key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement
Tracks and assists with disposal of assets from INTREN.
Auditing vendor spending and regional procurement representative's compliance with corporate policies
Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school degree or equivalent. Some college preferred.
Effective analysis/problem-solving and decision making.
Proficient in Microsoft programs including Word and Excel.
Experience with Vista/Viewpoint or similar ERP system preferred.
Basic understanding of construction vehicles and equipment preferred.
Must be highly organized, able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet varying deadlines.
Experience in Procurement or Accounting environment preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
