Job Title: IoT Software Tester (Hardware, Network, Platform - IoT Products)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia - Remote working is acceptable - Very occasional travel onsite.

Rate: Up to $50.00 per hour

We are looking for a talented and experienced Software Tester to help us drive innovation and ensure the quality of our cutting-edge IoT products. If you are passionate about testing technology from the hardware level through network infrastructure to the platform level, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hardware Testing: Ensure IoT devices function seamlessly by verifying hardware components and interfaces.
  • Network Testing: Validate network protocols, connections, and interactions across IoT systems for stable and secure communications.
  • Platform-Level Testing: Evaluate the software platforms that drive our IoT ecosystem, focusing on functionality, scalability, and performance.
  • Test Planning & Strategy: Create comprehensive test plans, define testing strategies, and develop detailed test cases to ensure end-to-end system validation.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Lead testing initiatives, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and provide guidance to junior testers to meet project goals.
  • Communication: Clearly communicate testing results, defects, and risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in testing across hardware, network, and platform levels, particularly in IoT environments.
  • Strong knowledge of test planning, developing test strategies, and writing detailed test cases.
  • Familiarity with IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, Zigbee, LoRaWAN) and communication technologies.
  • Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks for device testing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate issues and solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to drive quality initiatives and mentor team members.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
