We are looking for a mobile software engineer with 5+ years of Android application development experience. In addition to Android experience, the ideal candidate will have experience with iOS, C#, and Microsoft SQL Server. Ecotec Solutions, Inc. designs and manufactures best-in-class gas detection instruments for greenhouse gas monitoring in the Gas & Oil, and Landfill industries. This position will support the mobile software products that work with our instruments.
Technical Skills
Android native development with Java and Kotlin.
Database experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience with Restful APIs.
Experience with C#.
Azure development.
Power BI or Microsoft Fabric.
Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy development.
Experience with iOS development a plus.
Understanding general GIS concepts.
AWS development a plus.
Experience with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or STM32 a plus.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other engineering discipline or substantial work experience in software engineering.
5+ years mobile software development experience.
Demonstrated technical communication skills including verbal and written communication.
