DeepRec.ai seeks a dedicated Principal level Machine Learning Scientist specializing in Large Language Models (LLMs), to join our client's innovative team in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities:
Fine-tune, scale, and deploy large language models on scientific experimental data.
Develop and implement new prompt engineering strategies.
Utilize LLM-backed agents for various applications.
Contribute to a digital platform for continuous model finetuning.
Stay informed on the latest ML research through literature reviews, conferences, publications, and networking.
Collaborate with the experimental team on material discovery and development.
Report findings to stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications:
Proficient in coding with large language models (e.g., GPT or other autoregressive LLMs).
Strong background in prompt engineering.
Experience in deploying and fine-tuning deep learning models at scale.
Proficient in machine learning strategies like lifelong learning and incremental learning.
Skilled in ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow/Jax) and the Python data science ecosystem.
Experience with cloud computing services.
PhD in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on ML.
Independent thinker with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated industry experience or notable academic achievement.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using AWS services.
Experience integrating ML in experimental workflows.
