Role Description
This is a full-time role for an automation specialist at Storm Technologies. This is not a software development position. The automation specialist will be responsible for programming PLC based control systems, designing graphical interfaces, and ensuring the seamless operation of systems. The role is primarily located in Lees Summit, MO, with opportunities limited remote work. This position does require travel approximately 50%. Travel is all over the country.
Qualifications
Allen-Bradley PLC Programming, FactoryTalk or Ignition HMI Programming
Experience in designing and programming control panels
Knowledge of system integration and safety protocols
Ability to create user-friendly graphical interfaces
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Experience in industrial automation or related field
