Our client is looking for a Quality Engineer to bring technical expertise in performance excellence, Voice of the Customer, and process improvement efforts in order to prevent nonconforming products from reaching customers.
Responsibilities:
Proven ability to lead cross-functional problem-solving meetings with root cause analysis and corrective action plans follow-ups.
Perform reliability/repeatability and measurement system analysis.
Develop and implement process auditing and measurement systems for internal and external processes.
Represent VOC in the facility and hold all team members to determined standards of excellence.
Coach Quality Control Inspectors and Process Auditors - Teach
Utilize Lean tools to investigate and communicate problem statements and root causes for customer, internal, and supplier concerns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (mechanical engineering or similar).
3+ years of relevant work experience.
Experience with 5S
Experience in quality management systems and Total Quality Management concepts.
Proficiency in basic Lean Manufacturing tools or TPS
Knowledge of statistical tools for problem-solving, process measurement, process control, and process improvement.
