An aviation company in Denver, CO is looking for a manufacturing inspector to join their team. This individual will be responsible for performing thorough inspections of aerospace components and assemblies at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with specifications, engineering drawings & work instructions, quality standards, and industry requirements. This individual will need to have experience utilizing a variety of precision measuring tools and will need to be able to understand complex engineering drawings. The pay range is between 24 and 38/hr.
Must haves:
GED
5+ years of inspection experience: healthcare or automotive or med device
Proficient understanding of precision measuring instruments
Ability to read and interpret an engineering blueprint along with basic math skills
Plusses:
Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001 or TS16949 quality management systems
Associates degree or technical certification
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing process improvements
