Company Overview:

We are a dynamic, fast-growing e-commerce company seeking a strategy and results currently achieving $12 million in annual sales and we need a Head of Operations to join our team.

We specialize in selling hair tools, skincare and would like to open a new company in power tools in the next few months. We operate across multiple platforms, including our own website and major online marketplaces like Amazon and Shopify. We are looking for a dynamic and strategic head of operation with strong experience in scaling ecommerce operations to take our business to the next level.

This role will be key in driving operational excellence and ensuring that our processes and systems scale smoothly as the company grows. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a strong track record in managing operations, streamlining processes, and delivering measurable improvements across various systems, processes, logistics, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the CEO to design long-term operational strategies that support overall business growth, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Understand All Operations of an ecommerce business, sales & marketing, products, system, and understanding the numbers that are driving revenue in the business.
  • Manage customer service and post-purchase experience, including fulfillment speed, product quality, and customer service.Work to improve Net Promoter Score (NPS), customer reviews, and retention rates.
  • Partner with the marketing and sales teams to align operational capacity with sales forecasts and marketing initiatives.Collaborate on pricing strategies, product launches, and customer experience improvements.
  • Lead efforts to streamline processes, improve productivity, and reduce operational costs while ensuring scalability during peak times.
  • Implement automation tools and data-driven decision-making processes to streamline operations.
  • Lead and scale the company's operational infrastructure to support continued growth, including fulfillment, logistics, customer service, and warehousing with financial budgeting in mind.
  • Optimize inventory management, ensuring product availability while reducing stock holding costs.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements, industry regulations, and manage risk across the business.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure cost-effective procurement and timely delivery of products.
  • Oversee negotiations with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and optimize shipping and warehousing solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Leadership and People Management: Proven experience leading teams, developing talent, fostering teamwork, and cultivating a positive work environment.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to think critically, solve complex problems, and make informed decisions that support long-term business goals.
  • Operational Expertise: Strong background in improving operational efficiency, managing end-to-end supply chains, and implementing process improvements.
  • Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to drive cost-effective operations.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ability to effectively manage legal obligations, adhere to industry regulations, and mitigate risks.

Preferred Experience:

  • Ideally 5+ years in operations role in e-commerce or a similar fast-paced industry.
  • Expertise in supply chain management, fulfillment operations, and customer service optimization.
