Ultimate Staffing is hiring for a Production Planner/Scheduler in Baltimore, Maryland! This is a full time, in-person, direct hire position. This position will give you the opportunity to further your operational support experience while working for a global manufacturing company.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and schedule new customer orders for product line based on raw materials availability and production team capacity
Address production changes when customer expedites or delays and order, make adjustments when quantity or product changes are needed
Manage purchasing and stock levels for all accessory kits that are used with the products in this product line
Coordinate with Engineering team when new devices or accessory kits appear for scheduling
Provide production plans to production floor supervisors at least 48 hours in advance
For urgent customer orders, coordinate shipping directly from factory by preparing logistics, processing, and paperwork
Meet delivery targets for assigned products
Review inventory aging and volume reports
Provide product lead time information to Customer Service and Sales teams
Extract and interpret system-generated data reports
Analyze Returned Material/Orders (RMAs) to determine disposition plan, file freight claims when necessary
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or Industrial/Technical field is preferred
At least 2 years of experience in production coordination, or experience in a manufacturing environment or professional setting with similar responsibilities
Demonstrated drive for customer satisfaction and response time
Experience with product assembly operations
Knowledge of safety procedures, PPE standards, and maintaining a safe work culture
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and experience working with ERP systems
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced cross-functional environment managing multiple priorities
Additional Details
This is a direct hire position with salary range of 64-68k depending on experience
This is an in-office position in a finished office space that sits adjacent to the Baltimore manufacturing plant floor
This position will require multiple trips to the manufacturing floor on a daily basis
