Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Governance and Oversight:
  • Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, including policies, procedures, and tools for project execution.
  • Ensure project teams follow best practices, standardized processes, and methodologies.
  • Monitor the overall project portfolio to ensure timely and budgeted delivery of all projects.
  1. Project Planning and Support:
  • Assist in the creation of project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate coordination between different project teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide guidance on project scope, risk management, and project lifecycle processes.
  1. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Track the progress of ongoing projects, identifying issues or bottlenecks and providing mitigation strategies.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to assess project health.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports and dashboards to senior management and stakeholders.
  1. Resource Management:
  • Manage resource allocation across multiple projects to ensure optimal utilization of staff and other resources.
  • Maintain a central repository for project documentation and lessons learned for future reference.
  1. Stakeholder Communication:
  • Act as the central point of communication between project teams, senior management, and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular stakeholder meetings and ensure all project-related updates are shared in a timely manner.
  1. Risk and Issue Management:
  • Identify project risks and issues, developing appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure that any project risks are communicated effectively to stakeholders.
  1. Process Improvement:
  • Continuously review and improve PMO processes and tools to enhance project delivery efficiency.
  • Lead post-project evaluations and implement lessons learned.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in project management or a similar role.
  • Experience with program and portfolio management tools and methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, etc.).
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

Skills:
  • Strong understanding of project management frameworks and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
  • Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Leadership and team management skills.

Preferred Certifications:
  • PMP (Project Management Professional)
  • PRINCE2
  • Agile certifications (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe Agilist)
