Sand Revolution II, an industry leader in Sand Logistics, is seeking a Claims Specialist to join our team. The Claims Specialist will report directly to the Risk Management Supervisor. They answer questions, review policies and other documents, and ensure claims are submitted in the proper manner to help ensure prompt and efficient processing. They also serve as a liaison to coordinate communications with adjusters, attorneys, and insurance agents.
Responsibilities: • Provide direct backup and assistance to the Risk Management Supervisor. • Handles insurance and in-house claims from start to finish. • Assess losses, identify coverage, evaluate liability and damages, review and analyze documents and legal pleadings. • Maintain claim files and document claim file activities in accordance with established procedures. • Keep records of incurred losses, reserves and deductibles according to company practices designed. • Aid with insurance audits and renewal of policies. • Aids in meeting the requirements of new customers. • Review and analyze all information and submit requests for payment of claims within company guidelines. • Maintain current knowledge of local industry repair procedures and local market pricing. • Assist or prepare files for lawsuit, trial, or subrogation. • Prepares and/or reviews reports and corresponds with attorneys, insurers, and other stakeholders as needed. • Carry out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. • Responsible for registration and insurance compliance for all company vehicles and equipment. • Control and maintain files for the companies' asset records, including property, vehicles, and equipment. • Monitors that company assets that have been damaged are repaired. • Develop systems and processes for gathering and storing data for future analytic projects. • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements & Core Competencies: • One to five years of experience as a Claims Specialist in a similar company or related field • Bilingual - Spanish preferred • Knowledge and understanding of Commercial Insurance. • Knowledge and understanding of Insurance Claims. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet daily deadlines for projects. • Strong written and verbal communication • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time to complete work. • Critical thinking skills with the ability to independently solve problems. • Quantitative and analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to understand new analytical concepts.
