Superlanet is seeking a Clinical Informatics Analyst for our Texas healthcare client. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience with Cerner Clinical Documentation, including build experience in Nursing Documentation, PowerForms, and iView. This role involves managing third-party applications, triaging tickets, and addressing incidents and break/fix issues. The analyst will work closely with clinical teams and IT staff to support workflows, resolve issues, and manage projects. This is a Direct Hire, onsite role, with potential for hybrid work after coordination.
Work Arrangement: Onsite (local or relocation assistance available); potential hybrid option (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) after coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, and implement clinical workflows within Cerner to optimize user experience and improve outcomes.
Manage and integrate third-party applications used alongside Cerner, ensuring seamless interoperability.
Handle triage, incident resolution, and break/fix tickets, working to address workflow inefficiencies.
Lead and manage projects, ensuring successful delivery from initiation through completion, with a focus on clinical documentation and related workflows.
Work on various projects related to EMR upgrades, enhancements, and optimizations, collaborating with clinical and IT teams.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for clinical documentation systems and third-party applications.
Coordinate with clinical staff to gather requirements, document system changes, and provide training.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards and healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
Act as a liaison between clinical users, IT, and vendors to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
Offer support for Cerner system upgrades, testing, and go-lives, ensuring minimal disruption to clinical operations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of experience with Cerner Clinical Documentation, including build experience (PowerForms, iView, nursing documentation).
Proven experience in project management, successfully working through projects from start to completion.
Experience managing third-party applications and resolving incidents through triage and ticket work.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle break/fix scenarios.
Familiarity with clinical workflows, healthcare regulations, and patient care processes.
Comfortable working independently as a self-starter, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
Excellent communication skills, capable of working with clinical teams, IT staff, and vendors.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with system integration tools (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and data exchange between EMR and third-party systems.
Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP) is a bonus.
Ability to balance both incident management and project work simultaneously.
