VP, Performance Investment - Programmatic

Havas Media Group North America is looking for a VP, Programmatic to join the Performance Investment team, part of our global community of 10,000 team members who are focused on using Meaningful Media to make a meaningful difference to brands, businesses, and people.

We are seeking a programmatic leader with passion for the industry and discipline expertise. The VP, Programmatic will oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of programmatic advertising campaigns across various channels. As a key leader in our organization, the ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of programmatic media, a strategic mindset, and the ability to manage high-level client relationships. The role will report to the SVP Programmatic Discipline Lead at Havas.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Programmatic Leadership: Oversee all programmatic activity managed out of the media pod, working intimately with account teams, ensuring accurate and relevant planning recommendations are provided to assist in decisions over channel mix and budget allocation. Lead the programmatic media strategy and execution for key clients, ensuring alignment with their overall marketing and business objectives.
  2. Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing programmatic team, ensuring continuous development of skills and knowledge in emerging trends and technologies.Establish best practices, criteria mapping and optimization strategies for programmatic media
  3. Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for programmatic clients, providing thought leadership, strategic direction, and insights to elevate campaign performance and drive business growth.Innovation & Growth: Stay on top of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in programmatic advertising to identify opportunities for growth and innovation in service offerings.Data-Driven Decision Making: Use advanced analytics to assess campaign performance, generate actionable insights, and optimize campaigns for maximum performance resultsCollaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (integrated investment, analytics, Mx, etc.) to integrate programmatic strategies into broader digital marketing initiatives.Ex: Partner with Analytics leads to establish learning agendas for clients consisting of advanced measurement solutions (Brand Lift Studies, Conversion/Sales Lift Studies, Cross-Channel Delivery, etc.)

Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with key programmatic technology partners, vendors, and media platforms.Budgeting & Forecasting: Manage programmatic budgets, including forecasting, media buying, and reconciliation, to ensure profitability and client satisfaction.New Business: Apply programmatic media knowledge and creativity to brainstorming and strategy sessions especially as it relates to new business pitchesHavas Tool Integration: Utilize agency audience planning tool to ensure cohesive approach across channels

WHAT YOU'LL NEED/SKILLS:

Experience: Experience in digital marketing, with a focus on programmatic advertisingLeadership: Proven experience managing teams and building high-performing, collaborative work environmentsTechnical Expertise: Deep understanding of programmatic platforms, including DSPs, DMPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, and ad verification tools Data Proficiency: Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for performance optimization and campaign insights.Client Management: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven track record of managing and growing client relationships.Innovation: Strong knowledge of emerging media trends, including AI, identity resolution, CTV, data, and more.
