Position Overview: The Tax Staff / Senior will be responsible for preparing and filing individual and business tax returns, as well as performing related tax activities. The successful candidate will be experienced in tax regulations and will have the skills necessary to ensure all filing deadlines are met.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and file individual and business tax returns in accordance with legal regulations and filing deadlines.
Identify and analyze tax issues and provide tax advice to clients.
Provide tax research and advice on a variety of tax issues.
Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Assist in the preparation of tax projections and projections.
Coordinate with clients to ensure timely and accurate processing of their taxes.
Qualifications
CPA or CPA eligible
Strong knowledge of individual and business taxation
Proficiency in using computer software and tax preparation applications
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
