LHH is currently recruiting for a Controller in the Eugene, OR area. This is an exciting company in the food manufacturing industry. The current Controller is leaving and this person will have some time to cross-train and learn before they leave. Excellent executive team! Overall Job Function:
Oversee and manage all the daily accounting functions and areas; prefers more of a "hands-on" type of a manager, not afraid to get involved when needed
Process improvement as needed; rolling out to the team
Would like someone that can be proactive and able to own this role and improve
Management of the accounting staff
Work closely with executive team on other accounting or financial related projects as needed
Ideal Profile:
Bachelor's Degree - Accounting
CPA a+
5+ years of management in an accounting role; understanding of cost accounting areas preferred
Good work ethic, proactive, doesn't want a laid back personality, can go above
Food industry/manufacturing preferred
Strong work ethic, professionalism and can be proactive to solve/resolve problems and/or improve areas as/when needed; someone who can go "above and beyond"
Able to look at areas of improvement and help to implement and roll-out to the team
Strong attentional to detail and ability to meet deadlines independently
Good management and mentoring skills; ability to help develop and grow the team
Larger ERP experience - Sage X3 current system; advanced Excel
Salary $115k - $120k base
