Role Description:

Loftware's Product Manager is responsible for the product strategy, planning and execution through the product life cycle and ensuring success in terms of both business commercials and client satisfaction. The product manager will conduct market assessments, including competitive positioning and define requirements while working closely with the development team for successful product delivery.

As Product Manager, you will develop product launch and rollout plans that prepare internal resources to sell, service and support the product. At the same time, you will work with Product Marketing to develop product positioning, packaging and programs.

The Product Manager can balance the strategic thinking for the bigger picture vision and be an executor of the tactical delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive product strategy including new markets, products and offerings, and market differentiation.
  • Manage the product roadmap including overall prioritization of both strategic and tactical activities for the functional areas of clinical trials labeling, medical devices and life sciences.
  • Own "voice of the customer" through regular interactions with business stakeholders and clients including Discovery sessions, client focus groups, user groups, Day In Life sessions and other methods and document these through use cases
  • Clearly define, document, and communicate market opportunities, requirements (epics, features, user stories), and outcomes within an Agile process and incorporate input from internal and external sources
  • Serve as the internal and external product evangelist, working with sales, partners and key customers to develop positioning and increase market success.
  • Develop new product ideas and enhance existing products based on market knowledge and contact with customers/prospects/partners.
  • Define, develop, and disseminate product messages, value propositions, and positioning to optimize revenue and maximize market share.
  • Organize and implement comprehensive product launch plans and define tactical priorities for product backlog.
  • Assist in internal training on product features, functionality, and technology.
  • Establish and maintain a leadership role by serving as a technical product expert

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in technology and life sciences, industrial or consumer products in an enterprise SaaS software environment
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or technical discipline preferred.
  • Strategic thinker capable of delivering on a long-term view on growth metrics, and data-based decision-making.
  • Strong ownership, bias to action, and know-how to succeed in ambiguity.
  • Tech-savvy and able to translate concepts into value driven outcomes.
  • Comfortable presenting to both internal and external audiences.
  • Experience in Agile.
  • Proven success at serving as product owner and a desire to become the 'product expert'.
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching market-leading products.
  • Ongoing professional education and certificates in Product Management.

  • Excellent listening, oral and written communication/presentation skills with strong ability to influence people at all levels.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and self-discipline to work effectively in a high-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong passion for innovation and great user experience.
