Ikigai Cases is a family owned e-commerce business selling metal pill cases. The business was started in December 2021 and has been run by two brothers since then from Washington, DC.
Our mission is to make exceptional pill cases and provide exceptional customer service. We have committed to these principles by keeping our order fulfillment operation in house and providing white-glove service to our customers.
In 2.5 years, we have reached a multi-seven figure annual sales pace, crossed 40,000 orders and are selling several thousand pill cases per month. We are looking to find exceptional individuals to join our Washington DC based team during the 2024 holiday season.
WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON
Whatever the business needs
Immediate needs are:
Packing customer orders alongside the founders from our space located next to Farragut Square in Washington, DC
Using laser and cnc engraving machines to personalize orders (you will be trained up, no previous experience required)
Tracking and managing inventory / supply levels

The experience you gain from this role cannot be taught inside a classroom or in an online course. The only way to learn how to build an e-commerce company from the ground up is to be there making it happen.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Located in Washington DC (during internship period of NOV - JAN)
Able to work at least 2 weeks combined (at least 80 total hours) between November 1, 2024 - January 30th 2025
High school and college students are both encouraged to apply
