Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in managing IT projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring timely and successful completion of projects while adhering to budget constraints. This role involves developing work plans, schedules, estimates, and resource allocations, and maintaining strong communication with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills and a strong ability to manage risk and interdependencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the technical team in tracking server upgrades and managing project schedules.
Perform onsite project walk-throughs and monitor progress.
Coordinate with internal clients, engineering teams, and service teams to ensure projects are executed on time.
Communicate progress, milestones, and blockers effectively to stakeholders, quantifying updates as necessary.
Identify and manage project and program interdependencies.
Create and present performance and status reports for key stakeholders.
Develop and manage risk and issue management plans, analyzing risks by probability and severity.
Mitigate risks using established procedures, including risk workshops and Delivery Risk Assessment tools.
Utilize client project management tools and methodologies to meet delivery goals.
Attend project or construction meetings in person or remotely on a weekly or daily basis.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in project management, particularly within IT environments.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to clearly report on project progress.
Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate efforts across multiple departments.
Experience managing vendor tasks and deliverables.
Strong risk management skills and the ability to analyze and mitigate project risks.
