Job Summary

Oversees Customer Excellence team for sales management of Health Food Store Key Accounts, Distributors, Food/Drug/Mass, and Online customer account channels. Leads and develops Customer Excellence team for superior sales and service of customers. This includes: account creation, order processing, OTIF (On Time, In Full order fulfillment), resolve claims, continuous process improvement, recall readiness, while driving team objective's and key results for the organization.

Essential Functions
  • Develop and cross train multichannel team to enhance customer service levels and continuous improvement objectives to support BBCO in efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Recommends or initiates personnel actions, such as promotions, incentives, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures.
  • Establishes and maintains favorable relationships with customers by resolving issues that arise.
  • Creates reports of various departmental statistics for distribution to appropriate parties.
  • Evaluates promotions for accounts and works closely with IT developers to program in the system for smooth execution.
  • Updates customers on current company promotions and specials for all channels.
  • Must have high-level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Lead and develop the Key Accounts Excellence Team to meet the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Support and guide Sales Account Managers & Coordinators with customer specific need to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Liaison for Sales Directors to support smooth process execution and troubleshoot unforeseen events.
  • Support Sales Leaders to successfully develop and execute Customer promotional programs.
  • Identify and launch Continuous improvement processes for efficient order processing to support business growth with IT and Warehouse distribution teams to meet departmental OKRs.
  • Establish SOP creation and maintenance for all channels supported.
  • Proactively fosters strong relationships between assigned Key Accounts and the company. Understands the value of relationships at all levels of the account.
  • GS1/1Worldsync item management setup and maintenance of products for customers.
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain to continuously improve customer experience for BBCO customers.

Additional Responsibilities
  • May be required to attend product education meetings and travel for sales meetings.
  • Support of and involvement in company, department, and/or safety policies, procedures, programs and activities.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Job Qualifications
  • Associate's degree from four-year college or university with two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in Microsoft applications like Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and database software. ERP software and PowerBI experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and general business periodicals. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
  • The employee must exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, accommodation, color vision, and field of vision.
