We are partnering with a leading hedge fund in Florida who specialize in systematic investing. They are growing out their US presence extensively and are looking for a junior professional to join their US Operations team in Boca Raton, Florida.
The role offers the opportunity to work across a range of managed futures and quantitative style funds in a fast paced trading environment. You will be responsible for reviewing completing of "t+1" trading reconciliation of cash accounts and trading positions. Close interaction with internal teams, investment managers and external counterparts to resolve issues and reconciliation differences will be required on a daily basis. You will also have the change to work on projects specifically related to process enhancement and automation (where coding/programming skills can be utilized).
My client is looking for an intellectually curious young professional with strong academics and 1-2 years experience working for an investment bank, fund administrator or hedge fund. Coding and programming skills would be an added advantage (specifically python).
Please note, my client requires employees to be in the office 5 days a week.
