They're looking to bring on a Traffic Section Head to oversee their traffic division in South Carolina. This role can sit out of either Charleston, SC or Columbia, SC. The ideal candidate would function as a technical leader and play a role in business development to build new market opportunities and further develop existing opportunities. You'll have strong knowledge across traffic engineering within all aspects from design, analysis, and operations.
Responsibilities:
Work with office managers and practice leaders to form growth strategies and plans
Marketing and business development in South Carolina to further establish and grow presence
Manage financial budgets for departments
Perform interviews and hiring for the traffic team
Function as technical expert for project managers and other technical staff
Requirements:
10+ Years of experience in traffic engineering
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
PE license in South Carolina
Knowledge of policies, practices, and publications of SCDOT
SCDOT project experience
Preferred:
PTOE license
Experience with multiple traffic analysis and simulation modeling softwares

Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 + strong bonus structure
