We run programs across all major fields of study in Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Cape Town, Dublin, Sydney, and Tokyo, focusing on social entrepreneurship, sustainable development, human rights, and the allied health professions.
We're growing and are now hiring an Internship Program Director. The role is remote and the successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, entrepreneurial drive, and preferably education abroad or career counseling experience, either as a provider or within a university.
As Internship Program Director you will:
Establish and maintain relationships with universities; develop customized programs for universities
Oversee the process of matching students with best-fit global internship opportunities
Engage in coaching/mentoring sessions to help students learn from their experience and build their careers
Build and maintain relationships with local host organizations and help them to define projects
Continuously deepen your industry knowledge and professional skills by attending and presenting at industry events, reading relevant publications, and building a network of contacts
Further, you will be a valued member of the Connect-123 team. You will receive ongoing training, mentoring, and support to help you succeed as well as opportunities for career growth.
Requirements:
University degree
Excellent communication skills, including listening, problem-solving, and coaching
Proven organizational and multitasking skills
Fluent in English
High energy level and entrepreneurial drive
A deep commitment to help others and contribute to host communities and organizations
Advantageous:
Experience in the education abroad field, either as a provider or within a university
Experience working within a university career center
