We're looking for a talented Application Developer that has hands-on experience with NetSuite's SuiteCommerce platform, including expertise in SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA), SuiteScript, and web development technologies. As our SuiteCommerce Developer, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of the architecture and development our new SuiteCommerce payment integration as well as adding new features as the product evolves.
Responsibilities and Expectations
Collaborate with design teams to ensure the implementation of high-quality user interfaces and experiences.
Design, develop, and maintain SuiteCommerce websites and applications as well as NetSuite SuiteCommerce extensions and SuiteApps.
Implement and modify SuiteCommerce templates, themes, and modules to meet specific business requirements.
Customize and extend SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) features using SuiteScript 2.0 and JavaScript.
Integrate SuiteCommerce with third-party services and platforms using REST and SOAP APIs.
Work with our Product Development team to design, develop, architect, and help build a new integration for our EBizCharge product suite of payment/ERP integrations which have a total of over 200,000 active users.
Work collaboratively with Agile team members such as Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, and QAs, as well as our Customer Support team and clients.
Optimize website performance, scalability, and user experience.
Debug and troubleshoot performance issues, providing solutions to improve site speed and functionality.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SuiteCommerce implementations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
5+ years of experience in web development, particularly with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related technologies is required.
Experience with NetSuite ERP and CRM modules is required.
Proven experience working with SuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) and NetSuite platform.
Proficiency in SuiteScript 2.0 and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., nodeJS, jQuery).
Experience with web development tools, such as Git.
Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP APIs for integration with third-party applications.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
SuiteCommerce Developer certification is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of eCommerce trends and best practices.
