A global company is looking for a Lab Technician to join their team in the beautiful Bend, Oregon. The Bend worksite consists of approximately 90 employees focused on contract early phase clinical drug product development and manufacturing. This site is part of a global network that includes the manufacturing of drug substance, scale up, clinical distribution, and commercial drug product launch. Coming in as a Lab Technician, this is an amazing opportunity to gain experience at a company on the forefront of pharmaceutical development.
Day to Day
Clean laboratory glassware, dispose waste, and maintain an orderly laboratory.
Prepare various solutions including dissolution media, diluents, and mobile phases.
Support inventory, ordering, and stocking of supplies.
Issue and review laboratory notebooks, logbooks, and other documentation.
Support stability set downs, pulls, and disposals.
Perform verifications on basic analytical equipment (balances, pipettes, pH meter).
Follows Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Safety guidelines.
Suggested Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Experience in a laboratory environment preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel).
Requires manual dexterity, visual abilities and the ability to stand/walk for periods of time.
