Bonus Opportunity Available! While we prefer someone based near our Corporate Office in Merrillville, Indiana, we are open to candidates located near one of our hotel markets.

Summary

This position will report to the Corporate Director of Revenue Strategy and Chief Revenue Office. This person will work closely with property and commercial teams with a focus on establishing strategy to drive optimal revenue and profit. Hybrid (local to corporate office or in hotel market) opportunity based on experience. We are looking for someone with previous branded hotel and multi-unit experience. Marriott, Hyatt, and Hilton preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Must be passionate about using data, quantitative analysis, and sophisticated analytics to develop optimal pricing, profitable revenue, and to drive change.
  • Use knowledge of technical and managerial applications of reservation systems and yield management systems and their utilization by each hotel brand and White Lodging.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Optimization Analysts.
  • Responsible for demand forecasting, rate management, and inventory that capture the optimal revenue producing business for the hotel.
  • Team with properties to complete financial forecasting.
  • Utilize a variety of historic reports, pacing, segmentation, and pricing reports to enhance the demand forecasting processes.
  • Conduct diagnostic analysis of hotel's channel mix to optimize profitable revenue.
  • Perform ongoing revenue and profit analysis to identify opportunities to grow revenue, market share, and profit.
  • Create and analyze ad-hoc reports as needed/requested.
  • Various other items as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Background/experience in one of the following disciplines: Hotel Revenue Strategy, Brand Systems, Brand System Certification, Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt Preferred.
  • Understandings of statistical analysis procedures, including multivariate regression analysis, cluster analysis and/or forecasting methods. Understanding of supply and demand modeling, and inventory management.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • 3-7 years hotel revenue experience
  • Desired: Working knowledge of any data querying software (e.g. Cognos, Tableau, etc.)
  • Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, or full-service branded hotel experience. Multi-unit - multi market experience highly preferred.
