Akkodis is currently seeking a Project Manager for a contract-to-hire position with a client based in Twinsburg OH.
Pay rate: $30/hr - $33/hr (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. )
Project Manager Job Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Data Collection & Consolidation: Collect and consolidate information from Supply Chain, Operations Management, Planning, and ERP systems to produce the production Line of Balance (LOB).
LOB Analysis: Analyze the LOB to identify critical path items, consolidating status updates from Supply Chain (bought items) and Operations (make items).
Support Recovery Plans: Assist the Supply Chain in creating recovery plans and developing delivery forecasts based on successful plan implementation.
Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate daily with functions such as engineering, industrialization, supply chain, and operations to ensure recovery plans progress. Report deviations or risks to Program Managers.
Priority Communication: Work with Operations, Planning, and Quality to ensure that production floor priorities align with management directives.
Customer Reporting: Prepare and formalize customer-facing reports regarding the LOB for communication purposes.
Daily Reporting: Report daily to the Program Manager on LOB status.
Hours and Travel:
Regular travel up to 20% may be needed.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Aerospace/Regulated Industry Experience: Experience in aerospace or heavily regulated industries preferred.
Matrix Organization Experience: Experience working in a matrix organization is beneficial.
Production/Supply Chain Experience: Background in a production environment or supply chain role.
ERP System Knowledge: Experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
Power BI Expertise: Familiarity with Power BI.
Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint: Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
Knowledge and Skills:
Leadership & Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and interpersonal skills to drive tasks to completion.
Emotional Resilience: Self-motivated, problem solver, emotionally resilient, able to meet demanding targets in a complex environment.
Relationship Building: Ability to establish trust with internal functions and drive mutually acceptable solutions. Strong communication and presentation skills.
Collaboration: Positive attitude with the ability to collaborate in a multi-partner organization. Promote the program both internally and externally.
