Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 (DOE)

They are seeking a skilled Estimator to help drive the success of new and ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Estimator, you will:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for complex commercial, institutional, and high-end interior projects.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to understand scope and requirements.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather accurate pricing and ensure cost-effective project execution.
Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate pricing agreements.
Develop and maintain comprehensive databases for material, labor, and equipment costs.
Monitor cost trends, market conditions, and material pricing to provide accurate estimates.
Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for new business opportunities.
Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
6+ years of experience as an Estimator within the construction industry, preferably with a general contractor.
Expertise in preparing estimates for commercial or high-end interior fit-outs in Manhattan or other major urban areas.
Proficiency in reading architectural plans, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Strong understanding of local construction costs, labor markets, and material pricing.
Proficiency with estimating software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
