Assist Corporate engineers in planning, design and write specifications for the purchase of heat treat furnaces and tooling or retrofitting of equipment
Capable of troubleshooting and support all heat treat processing throughout the organization based on actual field or engineering experience
Manage capital projects to implement the inspection, installation, documentation and PPAP of heat treat equipment
Work closely with the maintenance organization to develop and/or maintain a detailed preventative maintenance program
Assist in communizing process and practices at all sites
Work on new fixturing designs or coil designs and test for performance improvements
All other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field
3+ years of experience in heat treating processes, Gas Carburizing, LPC Vac
Carburizing and Induction process is necessary
Exposure working in a manufacturing environment
Must be comfortable with at least 50% travel, both within U.S. and Internationally
