Tubby Todd is a founder-led, direct-to-consumer ("DTC") family-focused brand providing gentle and effective baby and family personal care products. The Company has focused on providing parents with solutions for babies' sensitive skin conditions (including eczema, diaper rash and cradle cap), and has recently launched a broader array of personal care basics for babies, toddlers and moms based on direct feedback from its consumers. Tubby Todd employs an asset-light model with third-party warehousing, distribution and manufacturing all based in the US. POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced and analytical Demand Planner to join our team at Tubby Todd Bath Co. The Demand Planner will play a crucial role in ensuring that we have the right products in the right quantities available to meet customer demand. This role will involve forecasting, inventory management, and close collaboration with various teams to support our growth and maintain our commitment to exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: • Demand Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and input from operations, marketing, and finance teams. Be responsible for building and updating forecasts from multiple retail channels, including Direct to Consumer, Amazon, and Wholesale. • Inventory Management: Work closely with the supply chain team to optimize inventory levels, ensuring the availability of products while minimizing excess stock. Provide suggestions on replenishment orders based on inventory levels and anticipated lead times of finished goods and components. • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to align demand planning with overall business strategies and objectives. • Monitoring and Adjustment: Continuously monitor actual sales versus forecasts, adjust forecasts as necessary, and implement corrective actions to address discrepancies. Manage multiple forecast files including budgeted forecasts, latest estimates forecasts, and rolling forecasts. • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present regular reports on forecast accuracy, inventory status, and other key performance indicators to stakeholders. Lead monthly meetings to review forecast accuracy, summarize inventory levels, and provide solutions to mitigating potential inventory risks. • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve demand planning processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance forecast accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Economics, or a related field. • 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain roles, preferably in the consumer goods or personal care industry. • Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical forecasting methods and demand planning software. • Proficiency in Excel and experience with demand planning tools. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
