Akkodis is seeking an Automation Manufacturing Engineer for a onsite position with a client located in Omaha, NE. The Automation Engineer is a problem-solver, facilitator, change agent, innovator, designer and project manager. Responsible for performing these functions on issues as they are assigned (or arise) in the designated area.
Pay/Salary Range: $80,000k/yr - $115,000k/yr
Seniority Level- Minimum of 4 years of automation engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Top 3-5 Technical Skills (not all are required but preferred)
Rockwell Automation /PLCs
Proven robotic/ Fanuc automation experience
Large project management experience
3D CAD expertise
Experience building machines/upgrades/etc
4 year Engineering Degree is required
Welding is a plus
Leader/Mentor would be a big differentiator
Work is specific to robotic projects and will support the processes and other leadership teams
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
Good written and oral communications.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to develop plans for accomplishing assigned work and set priorities with a propersense of urgency.
Ability to make timely decisions.
Average to above average PC Skills.
