Job Summary: The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for providing hands-on support to the manufacturing team through equipment troubleshooting, process improvement, and project cost management. This role requires an understanding of programming, PCB board troubleshooting, and the ability to lead and collaborate with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to problem-solving and be able to recommend and implement improvements to existing processes and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manufacturing Support: Provide day-to-day support to the production team by troubleshooting equipment issues, ensuring minimal downtime, and maintaining high-quality standards.
Equipment Troubleshooting: Conduct detailed troubleshooting and root cause analysis at the component level on PCB boards. Familiarity with letter logic is a plus.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization. Implement Lean or Six Sigma principles where appropriate, though certification is not required.
Project Management: Manage project costs and timelines, track project progress, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Documentation & Training: Update and develop standard operating procedures for production processes. Create and deliver training materials for new processes and equipment.
Stakeholder Engagement: Attend and lead meetings with cross-functional teams to provide updates, communicate project goals, and manage expectations.
Continuous Improvement: Recommend and execute improvements in manufacturing processes and production lines to enhance productivity and efficiency.
