Leadenhall Search & Selection has partnered with an investment advisory firm that is seeking a Head of Portfolio Implementation to assist with portfolio development, execution of investments, and the creation of new funds. This role works closely with the front office, focusing on the operational support needed for efficient portfolio implementation across various asset classes, namely private credit.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the transaction closing process by working with teams from investment, operations, risk, and legal departments.
Generate and distribute portfolio analytics and reports to key committees and stakeholders.
Collaborate with operations and compliance teams to track portfolio metrics like capacity, liquidity, reserves, and adherence to investment guidelines.
Facilitate the onboarding process for new Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs) and funds by coordinating with investment, legal, and operations teams.
Create customized reports to assist with portfolio management and client communications.
Maintain clear and timely communication with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulators, and senior executives.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience managing operations for complex, multi-asset portfolios, with a focus on direct deals.
Private Credit experience is essential.
Skilled at managing large volumes of transactions across diverse portfolios within a global investment structure.
Experience with credit transactions is advantageous.
Demonstrated success in improving processes and enhancing operational efficiency in complex frameworks.
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication abilities.
Familiarity with 40Act funds is an added advantage.
